ABOUT CIS GLOBAL JOURNAL

Is a scholarly academic platform design to review academic journals in a scholarly form for publication by researchers and professors of Center for International Studies Ghana (CIS Ghana). The online journal for Centre for International Studies significantly promotes academic excellence, foster industry collaboration, and encourages scholarly writing and publications. By providing a robust platform for the dissemination of business knowledge, the journal will serve as a valuable resource for the global academic and professional community.

  1. Promote Research and Scholarship: Encourage the dissemination of innovative research and ideas in business disciplines by providing a credible platform for publication.

Content and Scope

The journal will publish content in the following areas:

  • Research Articles: Peer-reviewed original research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in various business disciplines such as finance, marketing, management, entrepreneurship, and international business.

  • Case Studies: Detailed analyses of real-world business scenarios, illustrating practical applications of business theories and providing valuable lessons for both academia and industry.

  • Review Articles: Comprehensive summaries of current research trends, critical analyses of the existing literature, and identification of future research directions.

  • Opinion Pieces: Thought leadership articles from industry experts and academics that provide insights into emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in the business world.

  • Interviews and Profiles: Features on prominent business leaders, successful entrepreneurs, and distinguished researchers, highlighting their contributions and insights.

Editorial Structure

  1. Editor-in-Chief: Oversees the journal's strategic direction, ensures adherence to editorial policies, and represents the journal in academic and professional circles.

  2. Editorial Board: Comprises distinguished faculty members and industry experts who provide guidance on editorial policies, contribute to the review process, and ensure the journal's content is of high quality and relevance.

  3. Reviewers: A pool of peer reviewers responsible for evaluating submissions based on originality, rigor, and contribution to the field.

  4. Managing Editor: Manages the day-to-day operations of the journal, including submission management, coordination of the review process, and communication with authors and reviewers.

  5. Section Editors: Oversee specific sections of the journal, such as research articles, case studies, and opinion pieces, ensuring the content is relevant and meets the journal's standards.

 

Submission and Review Process

  1. Submission: Authors submit manuscripts through an online submission system, providing all required information and adhering to the journal's guidelines.

  2. Initial Screening: The Managing Editor conducts an initial review to ensure submissions meet basic quality standards and are relevant to the journal's scope.

  3. Payment: The candidate is requested to pay the  appropriate fees according to the number of pages or the type of document to be reviewed and published.          

  4. Acticles Peer Review: Submissions are assigned to at least two reviewers for a double-blind peer review process, ensuring unbiased and constructive feedback.

  5. Decision: Based on reviewers' feedback, the Editorial Board makes a decision to accept, request revisions, or reject the manuscript.

  6. Revision and Resubmission: Authors revise their manuscripts based on reviewers' comments and resubmit them for further review if necessary.

  7. Publication: Accepted manuscripts are edited for clarity, formatted according to the journal's style, and published online.
